Kasbah Alili

We stayed for a week as a family kids and grand kids. The accommodation was spot on and place well maintained and quiet when we were there.Staff were very helpful nothing was too much trouble.All were friendly and Mustapha was great showing us around.Recommended

Our stay in the villa was so great. What made it even more wonderful was the company we had in terms of Mustafa and Eunice being our guide and friend showing us around. They were so patient with us. The villa is so beautiful it did not dissapoint at all. Everyone in the villa was so fantastic. They looked after us so well like a family. Would definitely recommend this villa. We already miss the villa and specially Mustafa who was so lovely and kind to us.

We loved our stay at the Riad. The pool is amazing and if it was upto the kids they would spend the whole day in there. The staff is what makes this place special. They made our holiday enjoyable. They spent time with the kids and made them feel at home. Nooruddeen went the extra mile and was so caring that he personally drove me and my son to a pharmacy on a Sunday evening when he realised that my son had a rash on his face. They took time out and would kick a ball around or play a board game with the children. No request was too big and the staff are always accommodating. I would definitely reccomend this place to stay as it is not too near the hustle of the main square but also not too far from all the tourist attractions.

It was my third time that I came to Kasbah alili Very nice stay, perfect breakfast and wonderful staffs The location is perfect. Easy leaded to down town and very close to Ourika I highly recommend this place and surely I ll comeback again Salaheddine

When the beauty of the place combines with the joy and professionalism of the staff, it is created the ideal place where you can stay. Everything you find in the description reflects the reality, maybe the pictures can not fully reflect the true beauty of this location. I was several times in Marrakech and I stayed in several locations but Kasbah Alili impressed me. I recommend !

The owners booked an airport pick up for us at very short notice. When we first arrived (mum, dad, 2 kids 12 and 8) we were a bit worried. The riad is at the end of a dirt track in the middle of empty land. However, when you got through the huge timber doors it is like stepping into another world. The couple who run the riad have 2 children as well and understand what guests need. It would be equally good for a romantic break for a couple, or a group could take it over. The pool and gardens are lovely (though too cold to swim in Feb when we went). Breakfast is served there and we sat around afterwards in the sun, not wanting to leave. The suite we had was big enough for 2 more children and traditionally furnished. There was a bathroom which all worked fine. The AC is set up for the hot months rather than the short winter. It was cold at night, there was a heater and they would have set up more heat (they could not do enough for you), but we snuggled under the blankets. Even the family cockerel didnt disturb us at night. Take pyjamas and bedsocks if you are visiting in winter! When we wanted transport it was organised quickly and efficiently. There may well be buses on the main road that is in walking distance, but we did not explore this as there are 4 of us. We visited the hammam, took a caleche, ate at the night market, walked up the Ourika Valley, went to the Palmeriae circuit, Saddian tombs, tanneries and souks (over 5 days). It was great to come back to our peaceful haven. My partner and I and his parents booked 2 rooms at Kasbah Alili riad in February for 3 nights. We parked our rented car for free, just outside the hotel's main gate On our arrival, we were welcomed by the owner who served us some Moroccan tea in the leafy, beautiful garden patio and chatted with us in Arabic (my fiancée speaks Arabic). Later, we were taken to our room. Our room was clean and spacious, with beautiful rugs and Moroccan decor. There was a useful coffee table there where we could eat food brought to the room from the shop. Also, there was a TV and WiFi, however the TV kept switching off and on but I'm sure that it has been fixed by now:-) WiFi signal was moody but we could use it in our room effectively. The bed was very comfy, with warm blankets etc. There was an electric heater next to our bed which was extremely useful in February. The bathroom was clean and lovely, with a big wall mirror and shower cubicle with a curtain. The water pressure was usually weak and the temperature of water was changeable but it wasn't a huge problem. The hotel itself was very quiet and peaceful which resulted in undisturbed nights and fresh air. The only problem I had with the room was that there was no window in it and I lacked daylight. It was too cold to keep the door open and the bathroom mirror was to small to add any light to the room. However, I'm sure that it works well during summer. Every morning we were served breakfast outside in the garden. It was a bit chilly to sit outside but again, it wasn't a huge problem. Breakfast consisted of beautifully laid out mini tagine pots filled with jams, soft cheese, olives and honey. Also, we were given freshly made Moroccan pancakes and tea. Our room was thoroughly cleaned every day, our towels changed, bed made etc. Splendid service! Overall, we enjoyed our stay very much and we will definitely be back at Kasbah Alili but maybe during summer months as we found our room a bit gloomy and eating outside gave us goose bumps.

I went to Marrakech for business and my Maroccan partner found this beautiful, peaceful, clean Riad. We had breakfast there and it was delicious: very good olive oil, honey, olives, home made butter, jam, cheese, crepes, bread... I will go there every time I travel to Marrakech! Family of two adults and two kids 9 and 12. Stayed there in August 2013 from 12th to 19th. This place has satellite TV, swimming pool, garden, gazebo, wi-fi, and they can prepare your meals also. My kids met some friends and enjoyed the family like atmosphere. This is not too far from the city centre. About 4 to 6 minutes by car or 10 minutes by bus. The taxi is also fine and it costs about 5 MAD. I do not think this place has been discovered yet. The cost is very low for the location. While were there there were people from germany, France, Italy, and my family from Canada. We defintely are going back for the location, the food, and the price.
